OK. Here is the first part of Bill O'Reilly's "interview" with Barack Obama. First, you will understand the "interview" being in quotation marks when I reference any person, Chris Wallace included, who works for FoxNews and talks to someone. I don't consider most of them journalists. My 'credentials' are nowhere near as good as theirs but I suspect that I may have more talent than most of these talking point regurgitators.
With that spew against FoxNews done, I have one other before the interview. It is utter nonsense that you can embed just about anything off of Fox's site but Bill O'Reilly. Apparently he is stupid and doesn't understand how the internet works. How allowing the embedding of your material can increase viewership. It is why I rarely embed anything from Fox. Comedy Central finally got this! You can't Bill?
Hopefully the video stays up. You can find it on your own at Fox's website. I won't provide any help on that one. They won't help themselves, they aren't getting it from me.
Now, you only have to stomach listening to Bill for about seven minutes here, I know it's hard but go ahead:
I thought that, so far Barack Obama has handled himself very well. He was close to ripping off Bill's leg and beating him with it at one point, but he held back nicely. I am glad this is getting split up. I really can't handle this guys voice for more than 5-10 minutes at a time.
I understand the "why" of this whole thing. I don't think that Barack Obama has much to gain with this interview other than the fact that they can't say he's afraid to come on after this. I suppose that is enough in itself. But wow, you have to sit down for that long with Bill O'Reilly to be President? I couldn't do it.
I will attempt to bring parts deux and trois to you as well after they air (next week)?

Pat McGovern
