Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-OH) remains in critical condition at the Cleveland Clinic's Huron Hospital in East Cleveland, OH. Myriad rumors continue to swirl after a confusing afternoon in which several major news outlets, both in Cleveland and nationally, reported her death only to be almost immediately refuted by doctors and a family spokesman in a news conference.
The congresswoman suffered a brain hemorrhage caused by an aneurysm last night while driving in Cleveland Heights. The doctor in the video said that they had determined that she has "very limited brain function."
All we can say is that we wish the best to this lady who has meant so much to the Northeast Ohio and the great city of Cleveland. Our thoughts and prayers remain with her and her family as we hope for a full recovery.
