US Embassy in Yemen attacked

Islamic Jihad of Yemen is reportedly claiming responsibility for an attack of the US Embassy in San'a, Yemen earlier today, according to MSNBC.



So far, it appears the there were no Americans among the 16 people reportedly killed and the embassy is reporting that all of it's people are accounted for.

What does it mean? Well, beyond the fact that Islamic fundamentalists in the Middle East still despise us, I am not sure. It was, apparently, a very well coordinated attack, despite the fact that they failed to penetrate the perimeter and gain access to the embassy itself.

We'll see how this plays out.
