Elizabeth Drew, author of Citizen McCain, has a piece in Politico on why she can no longer support or defend John McCain:
McCain’s recent conduct of his campaign – his willingness to lie repeatedly (including in his acceptance speech) and to play Russian roulette with the vice-presidency, in order to fulfill his long-held ambition – has reinforced my earlier, and growing, sense that John McCain is not a principled man.
In fact, it’s not clear who he is.
The informed supporters are dropping like flies. Depending on how, exactly, Rick Davis and the boys handled Carly Fiorina's 'timeout,' one has to wonder if, sometime in the not too distant future, she might say a little more than that he couldn't run a business. Hmm... That would be interesting!
